Our Vision

Milestones in Flight

A community-backed, all-inclusive, Aerospace skills training program empowering local youth with technical skills, confidence and knowledge, gained through hands-on immersive Flight Simulators, STEM subjects labs and classroom training, career guidance and mentorship.

WE ARE
  • A not‑for‑profit youth aerospace training organization
    • funded through community donations and industry support
  • Operating a 10,000 sq. ft. facility at CYKF
    • Region of Waterloo International Airport
  • Serving youth ages 12–18 since 2005,
    • through a volunteer crew of real-life pilots, engineers, technicians, educators and aerospace professional instructors and support
WE OFFER
  • Flight Simulation & Piloting:
    • Comprehensive, hands-on training for both crewed aircraft and uncrewed drone aerial systems (UAS).
  • Aerospace Science & Engineering:
    • Advanced academic subjects and enhanced technical training in aerospace disciplines.
  • Robotics, Electronics & 3D Printing:
    • Direct project exposure, utilizing cutting-edge manufacturing, circuitry, and automation tools.
